ARRIVING

Use the main entrance into the festival site - civic center drive. from there you will be guided to a place to park or camp (we will try to accomodate preferred locations when possible). please follow signs and the directions of our staff as they attempt to serve you in the best possible way.

DIRECTIONS

•From hwy 12 east or west: county road 9 north about four miles. run right into it!
•From hwy 71 north or south: hwy 71/23 bypass to civic center exit. right there!
•best option for directions: stop at a gas station-any gas station - you are only 5 minutes away!!

WHERE TO SLEEP/ TENT CITY

FOR WRISTBAND-TICKET HOLDERS ONLY OPENS NOON, WEDNESDAY, JULY 15, CLOSES NOON, SUNDAY JULY 18. EARLY ARRIVALS MAY BE ASKED TO RETURN AT NOON ON WEDNESDAY.

Camp out with over half the people attending Sonshine on the 50 acres of green grass surrounding the Willmar Civic Center! Plan to use the MAIN ENTRANCE when you arrive for parking & camping. Parking is real close to the camping area and you can bring a grill or stove to enjoy cooking in the great outdoors. No campfires, torches or fireworks are permitted and since it’s a temporary campground there is no electricity, trees, or picnic tables – bring what you need. If you’ve got a camping rig on wheels, blacktop parking is available. Free showers are available for all ticket holders. All stages are within a four (4) minute walk of RV & Tent City. Sonshine 2009 offers FREE camping to all wristband-ticket holders the day(s) of ticket(s) purchased. Camping privileges end at 10 am the following day. No Reservations Needed.
