LOCATION:

This is the address to the festival grounds. Once you get close enough to see the massive 'Tent City' you'll know you have arrived at Sonshine Festival 2010!

DIRECTIONS:

From Hwy 12 East or West: County Road 9 north about four miles...run right into it!
From Hwy 71 North or South: Hwy 71/23 bypass to Civic Center exit!

ARRIVING:

Please watch for the MAIN ENTRANCE signs and let our friendly staff help you find parking and camping locations. This is the quickest and easiest way to get settled in. If you are a returning camper, we will try to accommodate your preferred location.

BRING WITH YOU:

• Some people you want to hangout with!
• Something comfortable to sit on.
• Some cash or plastic to buy food and stuff with.
• Items such as sunscreen, chapstick, etc. to protect you from the sun’s rays.
• An adult chaperone if you are under the age of 18 and camping.

WHAT NOT TO BRING WITH YOU:

• Clothing that would draw attention to you.
• Man’s “best friend” or any pet! Sonshine is for people.
• Any motorized vehicle like ATV, golf cart, etc. None of these are allowed on the Sonshine grounds.
• If camping, no tent spikes over 7 inches long. We don’t want to strike water, oil or electricty!

FOOD:

• You can bring your own or purchase from vendors on-site. All kinds of food are available for purchase at the festival.

IN CASE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER:

• Your personal safety is your responsibility. Local radio 1340am will keep you informed. Proceed to appropriate locations, as directed by local authorities.

WHAT TO DO IF YOU GET HURT OR SICK AT SONSHINE 2010:

• Ambulance Service are on-site 24hrs. during the entire festival. However, we don’t assume responsibility for your welfare. We will help you take care of yourself.
• It is a good idea to bring your own basic medical kit and obviously any special medications that you might require.

MAINSTAGE SEATING POLICY:

• You must bring your own seating but you cannot leave them (chairs, tarps, etc.)
  in the concert area overnight. This will allow everyone an equal opportunity to select a new seating location each day. Remember, standing room only between the sound tower and the stage!

NO REFUNDS:

• Refunds are not given on any tickets. You can ask, but the answer is no. Sonshine is held rain or shine.

SECURITY:

• Willmar Police, Sheriff’s Reserve and Sonshine Security are on-site 24hrs. a day throughout the festival. They will do their best to provide a safe and enjoyable event. To do this, they reserve the right to search any personal items if deemed necessary.
  SONSHINE IS A SMOKE, ALCOHOL AND DRUG FREE EVENT!

WHERE TO STAY:

• TENT CITY - Camp out with over half the people attending Sonshine on the 50 acres of green grass surrounding the Willmar Civic Center! Plan to use the MAIN ENTRANCE when you arrive for parking & camping. Parking is real close to the camping area and you can bring a grill or stove to enjoy cooking in the great outdoors. No campfires, torches or fireworks are permitted and since it’s a temporary campground there is no electricity, trees, or picnic tables bring what
  you need. If you’ve got a camping rig on wheels, blacktop parking is available.
  All stages are within a four (4) minute walk of RV & Tent City.
